At Ecole Classique, all students are encouraged to participate in a variety of school activities. However, students are not required to participate. It is the belief of the administration that all students should be given the opportunity to be a part of any activity that they are interested in. On the elementary level, intramural sports are offered for boys and girls. On the secondary level, the students will find a number of sports available: football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, cross-country, track, cheerleading, bowling and golf. Students are not required to try out for any teams, but are allowed to join any team that they may be interested in. Ecole Classique is a member of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association and competes in class 1A. In addition to sports, the students can also become involved in Key Club, Builder’s Club, drama club, Chorus, Art Club and the National Honor Society.
