Athletics

Participation in athletics is an important part of any student’s learning experience. Through the framework of athletics, students directly experience the importance of teamwork, self-discipline and sportsmanship.

We do not believe in exclusivity, however. Our program is designed to provide all students with the opportunity to participate in athletics and enjoy every aspect of the team experience. We encourage all students to join our various athletic teams and do not select students based exclusively on athletic ability. At Ecole Classique, everyone is good enough to make the team. We do not hold tryouts; if a student wishes to participate, he or she may join by simply attending the first day of practice.

• On the elementary level, intramural programs are offered in flag football, soccer and softball.
• On the secondary level, Ecole Classique is a member of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association and participates in football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, track and cross-country.
