The Ecole Classique Varsity football team defeated long-time rival Ridgewood 18-8 last night at John Themis Stephens Stadium at Ecole Classique in Metairie Louisiana.

Our Spartans were led by Sophomore Quarterback/Running back Shea Howell, and Junior running back Conner Shirah. After scoring a third-quarter TD to take a 7-0 lead, Ecole added a 34-yard field goal to make it 10-0 entering the 4th quarter. A late score by Howell made the score 18-0. The final score at the buzzer was 18-8, with Ecole improving to 2-3 on the season. The Spartans and Eagles play again at Ecole on November 9th. Next week Ecole travels to Ben Franklin.
